Here at Lowe Family Wine Co, we’re committed to bringing you the best food, wine and regional experiences possible. Please read through the below terms & conditions, privacy policy and licensing that underpin these base operations.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping Rates

To keep it easy for you to order online, shipping on orders over $100 is free Australia wide. For orders under this amount, there is a flat shipping rate per order as follows:

 

  • NSW $20
  • ACT $25
  • VIC $25
  • QLD $25
  • SA $25
  • WA $30
  • TAS $30
  • NT $75 

 

All prices are in AUD.

*Please note, currently we only ship within Australia due to the high cost of freighting wines overseas.

 

Liquor Act 2007. It is an offence to sell or supply to or to obtain liquor on behalf of a person under the age of 18 years. 

Returns

If you receive a product that you believe is not what was expected, we will replace the item or refund your money at our discretion. It will be your responsibility to mail the item back to our PO Box in its original undamaged condition.

 

Contact us directly at cellardoor@lowewine.com.au or on +61 2 5858 4026 in the case this occurs so we can discuss the appropriate exchange and organisation.

 

Please take care when ordering as it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all orders are correct at the time of cart checkout. Lowe Family Wine Co is not obliged to refund or exchange an order for change of mind or incorrect selection at the time of purchase.

 

Returns are to be mailed to Lowe Family Wine Co, PO Box 21, Mudgee NSW 2850 Australia.

Shipping T&C’s

It is your obligation to enter the correct delivery address details at time of ordering. If you enter the wrong address, we are not obliged to resend the order to the correct address at our expense.

 

We will provide you with an estimated date for delivery of all parcels and while we make every effort to deliver by this time, all dates specified are estimates only. Unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee time of delivery.

 

It is the responsibility of the customer to inform Lowe Family Wine Co if an order does not arrive. Once we learn an order has not arrived by the due date, we will lodge enquiries with the courier to ensure delivery occurs as soon as possible. We will not be held liable for any loss or damage resulting from late delivery.

 

If an item has been lost in transit, we may not despatch a replacement item immediately. Replacement items will be dispatched according to our discretion. Without limiting the operation of any other Terms and Conditions herein, you agree that late delivery does not constitute a failure of our agreement, and does not entitle you to cancellation of an order. 

 

Without limiting the operation of any other Terms and Conditions herein, we will not accept liability for any loss or damage arising from items lost, stolen or damaged after delivery has taken place.

 

Should you object to any of these Terms and Conditions (including any subsequent amendments), you must immediately discontinue using this website.

Zin House Booking Conditions

BOOKING PREPAYMENTS

 

All bookings require a full prepayment of the total food amount to confirm the booking. This payment will be taken at the time of booking online, or requested one month out from the date when booking alternatively. If a payment is not received to confirm the booking you may forfeit your reservation and the table offered to another group.

 

CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

 

Please contact us as soon as possible with any changes in numbers or cancellations. We understand that sometimes circumstances beyond your control can require changes to your booking, so any variation to the below policy will be made at the discretion of the Zin Team. Where the rebooking of your table is possible you will not be charged, and payment refunded in full.

 

Cancellations made a month or more out from the date of dining will receive a full refund. Cancellations made between 14 – 30 days from your booking may be charged a 20% administration fee and the balance refunded. Cancellations made between 7 – 14 days from your booking may forfeit 50% of the booking amount. Cancellations made within 7 days of your booking may forfeit the entire booking amount.

 

*Please note: In the case Zin House is forced to close due to government Covid restrictions or travel is prohibited, all booking payments will be refunded.

 

PUBLIC HOLIDAYS

 

A 15% surcharge applies on public holidays to all food and drink, unless stated otherwise. This change in price will be incorporated at the time of booking.

CHILDREN

 

Children are very welcome at Zin House. The menu is the same for children as adults. When booking please specify how many of your guests are children. Children under 5 years are free, 5 – 12 years are half price, over 12 years are full price.

 

GROUP BOOKINGS

 

We have a private room that can seat up to 12 people and is available on request. Please confirm numbers with your guests as all bookings are required to pay the full food amount at the time of booking. If we are not given notice of changes in numbers, the final numbers given at confirmation will be charged.

 

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS

 

We cook from scratch with mostly our own organic produce and happily cater for individual needs that are dietarily related. It is the responsibility of the customer to inform us of any dietary requirements or allergies at the time of booking for the entire booking group.

 

CAN’T OR DON’T DRINK?

 

All beverages and wine flights are optional. Our wine list always features a range of non-alcoholic beverages to choose from, and sparkling water is on tap.

 

SEATING ARRANGEMENTS

 

Zin House seats approx 40 people and we do not turn tables. You’ll be sure to have adequate spacing and time to enjoy your experience in comfort. The modern farmhouse layout features a mix of smaller and larger tables, including a number of private dining rooms off the main area, please inform us if you would specifically like one of these. All bookings will be seated at their own table.

Lowe Tasting Experience Booking Conditions

Prepayment

 

The ‘Lowe Tasting Experience’ booking is confirmed on payment of the full amount at the checkout.

The Lowe Tasting Experience cost is based on the value of the experience, including the tasting of the full range of current release wines, and the time of our team to take you through individually at a reserved seated table. It is not refundable with wine purchase.

 

Booking Changes

 

We request you inform us as soon as possible if there are changes to your booking numbers or times, and we will attempt to accommodate these changes where possible. However in the case all the desired booking slots are full, we are unable to change your original booking.

 

If you do not advise us of any delays in your arrival, your booking slot will be held for 10 minutes then may be given to an alternate group. In all instances the seating slot of 1 hour can not be extended when other bookings follow.

Cancellations & Refunds

 

It is the responsibility of the customer to inform us as soon as possible if a cancellation is necessary. A full refund is available in the case of cancellation 24 hours or more out from your booking date.

 

If you do not inform us of a cancellation before this time the full amount of the booking may be retained by Lowe Family Wine Co. We understand sometimes circumstances beyond your control may require a change in plans, so any variations to this policy will be at the discretion of the Lowe cellar door team.

 

In the case of a drop in booking numbers, Lowe Family Wine Co has no obligation to refund or provide credit for the additional payment when not informed within the above time frame.

 

If a refund is necessary, please email us at cellardoor@lowewine.com.au with your booking name and a contact phone number so we can organise a refund to the card used at the time of payment.

Privacy Policy

We have committed to maintaining your privacy and are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). We use the information gathered to enable your account and to enhance your online experience.

 

LOWE FAMILY WINE CO DOES NOT SELL ITS DATABASE OR DETAILS ABOUT CUSTOMERS TO A THIRD PARTY.

Any and all the information collected on this website will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, disclosed, or loaned. We respect the right of users to remain anonymous and will endeavour not to knowingly disclose user identities unless directed by a court of law.

 

WHEN DOES LOWE FAMILY WINE CO DISCLOSE THE INFORMATION IT COLLECTS TO OUTSIDE PARTIES?

Lowe Wines does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. Lowe Family Wine Co may however release customer information when we believe, in good faith, that such release is reasonably necessary to (i) comply with law, (ii) enforce or apply the terms of any of our user agreements or (iii) protect the rights, property or safety of Lowe Family Wine Co, our users, or others.

 

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT AND HOW DO WE USE IT?

When you place an order through this website, we need to know your name, e-mail, phone number, address and credit card details if paying by credit card. This allows us to process and fulfil your order successfully. It also helps us in maintaining your account.

 

HOW DOES LOWE FAMILY WINE CO PROTECT CUSTOMER INFORMATION?

When you place orders, we use a secure server. The secure server software (SSL) encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. Furthermore, all the sensitive customer data we collect is protected by several layers of encryption and several layers of security to prevent unauthorised access.

 

By using our website, you consent to the collection and use of this information by Lowe Family Wine Co. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page so that you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it.

CREDIT CARD DETAILS

 

All credit card payments are processed securely through the eWay Payment Gateway and National Bank Australia (NAB). Payment by credit card is the fastest way to receive your order as there is no clearance delay. Lowe Family Wine Co does not store any credit card information on our servers.

 

Credit Card payments are made directly through eWay’s 256 bit SSL Encryption software to ensure your personal details are kept safe. None of your credit card details are stored.

USE OF COOKIES

 

‘Cookies’ are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive. Our cookies do not contain any personally identifying information. They allow you to place your online order and to login once you are subscribed.

 

Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually change your browser to prevent that. You will need cookies enabled to use the Lowe Family Wine Co website. 

Liquor Licensing

Lowe Family Wine Co operates under the New South Wales Producers License.

Our liquor licensing number is: LIQW824006010  

 

Through this license we are bound to the NSW Liquor Act 2007 and the Liquor Regulation 2018.

 

Under the Liquor Act 2007, it is an offence:

  • To sell or supply liquor to a person under the age of 18 years on licensed or regulated premises; or
  • For a person under the age of 18 years to purchase, or attempt to purchase, liquor on licensed or regulated premises.

Lowe Family Wine Co does not sell alcohol to persons under the age of 18; and makes every effort to ensure that alcoholic beverages are not delivered to anyone who is under the age of 18. By using this site you confirm that you are over the age of 18 and that the person receiving a shipment of alcoholic beverages from LFWC is over the age of 18.

 

Alcohol should be consumed in moderation and not in conjunction with operating a motor vehicle or machinery.  Women should not drink alcoholic beverages during pregnancy because of the risk of birth defects. Jack Brown Residency at The Zin House

This April & May, Ex-Printhie Head Chef, Jack Brown, is joining us at Zin for a two-month residency.

Working closely with Nathan Lovett of Naway Yila Buradja, this partnership will celebrate native ingredients including those from our Tinja Farm, whilst allowing Jack to tell stories through his cooking as a First Nations chef.
