Dragonfly White

Dragonfly White

2021 White Blend

Mudgee, NSW

$28

    Description

Common in Europe where focus is on regionality rather than variety, field blends are slowly receiving the recognition they deserve in Australia. Characteristics of field blends speak of the terroir and region rather than any one grape.

As previously, the blend is based on Semillon, but it’s the Vermentino that really lifts it. This is then rounded off with some Riesling to bring balance to this fresh, crisp white.

This is great for a warm day, served cold, with or without food. Its acidity makes it the perfect aperitif, or served with any kind of seafood. It’s not big in alcohol (10.5%), so suits the environment of light and easy.
