Description
Block 5 is comprised of quartz and shale soil. Like all our best reds, these are certified organic and biodynamic unirrigated bush vines. The fruit was hand-harvested on a biodynamic fruit day, 2nd March 2022, and crushed with indigenous yeast from the vineyard. Partial whole-bunch fermentation, followed by 18 months in new 500-litre French oak.
Deep garnet colour, with a bouquet of liquorice and cedar wood and a firm finish that will soften by 2028. Decanting recommended.
