Description

Block 5 produces our most powerful red. Organic, biodynamic, un-irrigated. Dark and intense, this wine is slow ageing but already drinking excellently. The fruit was hand harvested, with partial whole bunch fermentation, then stored in brand new 500 litre French oak puncheons. Primary aroma is of anise and brandy plums. Some spice and cedar wood on the palate, with obvious oak that will continue to settle with time. Drink anytime from now till 2030, during which it will soften and improve.
