Description

Portuguese in style, ruby port, elegant. From the Thumbprint vineyard in Mudgee, shiraz grapes were macerated and fermented in an open fermenter, with the addition of grape spirit halfway through fermentation to leave the required sugar. Stored for four years in old hogshead barrels before bottling. Excellent with chorizo, chocolate, or slightly chilled in summer.
