Zinfandel (2018)

Part of our annual 'Release 100' where 100 limited bottles of our selected museum wines are released to the public. Cellared by us in ideal conditions, ready to be enjoyed by you in their prime now.

Although significantly younger than that of the 2011 Block 5 also in this year's Release 100 lineup, this wine is already nearing its peak. Stored at my warehouse at 14.2°C since bottling – I’ve done the hard work of not drinking it all already for you, so now you can just enjoy it in its aged glory!

The true Christmas cake characteristics are showing from age, with beautiful structure and length. Soft and creamy; this is an absolute beauty and an example of where wine goes from something to everything. You’re likely already familiar with the Zinfandels I make, this is like those, but in their top glory.

Awarded 5 gold stars with 96/100 by Huon Hooke a few years ago, and it's even better since then!
